Quick Halter Hook Instructions
1) Attach hook to halter using the same half hitch knot you would use close the halter (click here for instructions on tying the half hitch)...

2) guide loop of halter through lower loop on halter hook
3) push halter loop over tounge of halter hook as shown below...
4) be sure halter is firmly attached to hook...
5) Be sure to check your knot to ensure that it was tightened properly to avoid slipping.Your rope halter should fit snug to prevent rubbing, your horse getting a hoof stuck and so you can quickly identify if the knot is slipping. Now that you are set up, enjoy the ease of hooking and unhooking your halter!
